Some rooms don't smell dirty. They smell off. Musty in a way you can't quite place. You've cleaned, you've aired it out, maybe you even had mold remediated, and something still hangs in the air. That's often what's left behind after mold: mycotoxins and VOCs you can't see and can't wipe away.

The Deodor Bomb 50g is built for exactly that problem. It's a chlorine dioxide (ClO2) gas treatment. You activate it with warm water, leave the space, and the gas goes to work through the whole room, neutralizing odors, VOCs, and mycotoxins in the air and on surfaces. No scrubbing, no fogger, no guesswork.

Why gas instead of a spray

Sprays only treat what they touch. Gas fills the space. Once released, chlorine dioxide disperses through the room and reaches the surfaces and corners a spray bottle never will. That's why this works as an overnight treatment: set it, leave, and let it treat the whole room while you sleep. Superstratum backs the mycotoxin claims with third-party laboratory testing, and they publish the white paper to prove it.

Where it earns its keep

  • Rooms that stayed musty after mold remediation
  • Basements, bathrooms, and kitchens with lingering odors
  • Spaces with past water damage
  • Cars with stubborn smells
  • Rental turnovers and listings: if you can smell it, you can't sell it

How to use it

  1. Place the Deodor Bomb in the room you want to treat.
  2. Add warm water to activate, following the product label.
  3. Leave the space. Treatment runs about 12 hours, so overnight is ideal.
  4. When it's done, ventilate the room well before using it again.

Read the product label before your first use and follow it exactly. These are the general steps. The label is the authority.

A straight word on safety

Chlorine dioxide is serious chemistry, which is why it works. The room must be unoccupied during treatment: no people, no pets, no plants. Ventilate thoroughly afterward, and store the product safely away from children. Used as directed, it's a controlled treatment, not a mystery cloud. Respect the label and it's straightforward.

Why we carry it at Odor Supply House

We're a two-person field crew, not a warehouse. Every product here is something we'd trust on a real job, for a real customer, on a real smell. The Deodor Bomb fills a gap sprays can't: whole-room treatment for what's lingering in the air after the visible problem is handled. That's why it's on our shelf.

Questions, answered straight

What is the Deodor Bomb and how does it work?

It's a chlorine dioxide (ClO2) gas treatment. You add warm water to activate it, leave the room, and the released gas disperses through the space over about 12 hours, neutralizing odors, VOCs, and mycotoxins in the air and on surfaces.

Does it kill mold?

No, and this matters. The Deodor Bomb treats what's lingering in the air and on surfaces: odors, VOCs, and mycotoxins. It does not remove a mold colony. If you have active mold growth, the source has to be remediated first. This is the finishing step, not the fix.

Do I have to leave the room while it works?

Yes. The space must be unoccupied during the full treatment: no people, no pets, no plants. Plan it overnight and ventilate the room well before using it again.

How long does a treatment take?

About 12 hours. Set it in the evening, let it work overnight, ventilate in the morning.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Only if they're out of the room during treatment and it gets ventilated afterward, exactly as the label directs. Store the unused product where children can't reach it. The chemistry is effective because it's strong, so follow the label without shortcuts.

Where can I use it?

Any enclosed space with lingering odor, VOC, or mycotoxin problems: bedrooms, living rooms, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and cars. It's a strong fit for rooms that stayed musty after mold remediation or water damage.

What do I do when the treatment is finished?

Ventilate the room thoroughly before spending time in it again. Open windows, run fans, let fresh air move through. Then use the room normally.

How is this different from a spray deodorizer?

A spray treats only the surfaces it touches. The Deodor Bomb releases a gas that fills the entire space, reaching areas a spray never will. They complement each other: sprays for spot treatment, the Bomb for whole-room resets.
