EC3 + Odor-911 Mold & Odor Cleanup Kit

Mold is only half the problem. The smell is the other half. You find the musty spot, you treat the mold, and then the room still smells like a basement. That is because treating mold and removing odor are two different jobs. This kit puts both in one box: EC3 Mold Solution Spray for the mold on surfaces, and a quart of Odor-911, our own odor neutralizer, to finish what the mold left behind in the air, fabrics, and soft goods.

How they work together

Step one, EC3 goes on the mold-affected surfaces per its label. Step two, once surfaces are treated and dry, Odor-911 handles the lingering musty smell in the room: upholstery, curtains, carpet, the air itself. One-two punch. Neither product does the other's job, which is exactly why they're together.

A straight answer on mold stains

Neither product in this kit is a mold stain remover. EC3 treats the mold itself. Odor-911 neutralizes odor. If the stain bothers you after treatment, that's cosmetic, and it's a different product category. We'd rather tell you that now than have you disappointed later.

Why bundle these two?
Because mold cleanup is two jobs: treat the growth (EC3), then neutralize the odor it left behind (Odor-911). Most people do the first and wonder why the room still smells. This kit finishes the job.

Will this remove mold stains?
Honestly, no. EC3 treats mold on surfaces. Odor-911 neutralizes odor. Neither is formulated as a mold stain remover. If the stain is the problem, that's cosmetic and needs a different approach.

Do I use them at the same time?
No. EC3 first, per its label. Let the treated surfaces dry. Then Odor-911 for the residual odor in the room.

Where can I use Odor-911?
On washable surfaces, fabrics, upholstery, carpet, and in the air. It's biodegradable. As with anything, test in an inconspicuous spot first.

What size Odor-911 is in the kit?

Will this handle a whole basement?
Depends on the basement. This kit is sized for a room or a defined problem area. For larger spaces, you'll want more of both. Measure the job before you buy.

What if the smell comes back?
Then the source is still active: moisture, a mold colony you missed, something still growing. No product finishes a job the source hasn't let go of. Find it, fix it, treat again.
