You got rid of the mold. Now keep it gone. Anyone who's dealt with mold knows the frustrating part isn't the cleanup, it's the comeback. The same bathroom tile, the same windowsill, the same basement corner, growing it all over again six months later. Remediation without prevention is a revolving door.

Endurance Coating is the prevention step. It's a spray-on treatment that dries to an invisible film and resists mold growth for up to 10 years, even through repeated wet and dry cycles. Spray it on, let it air dry, and the surface stays protected long after you've forgotten about it.

Where it earns its keep

  • Bathroom tile, grout, and caulk lines
  • Kitchen backsplashes and under-sink areas
  • Windowsills and anywhere condensation collects
  • Basements and crawlspace surfaces
  • Siding, roofing, and other exterior surfaces that stay damp
  • Anywhere you've remediated mold and never want to do it twice

How to apply it

  1. Start with a clean surface. The coating is phase three of the Whole Home Detox: surfaces cleaned with Building Cleaner first, air reset with the Deodor Bomb second. It prevents future growth, it doesn't remove existing mold, so remediate before you begin.
  2. Spray it on evenly, following the product label.
  3. Let it air dry to an invisible finish. No rinsing, no second coat unless the label calls for it.

Read the product label before your first use and follow it exactly. These are the general steps. The label is the authority.

The honest caveat

This is prevention, not a cure. If there's active mold on the surface, coating over it solves nothing. The coating is the final phase of Superstratum's Whole Home Detox protocol: clean the surfaces with Superstratum's Building Cleaner, run a Deodor Bomb to reset the air, then coat so it stays clean. Used in that order, it's the closest thing to a permanent answer we've seen for repeat mold spots.

Why we carry it at Odor Supply House

We're a two-person field crew, not a warehouse. Callbacks are the enemy in this business: nothing stings like a customer calling six months later because the mold came back. A preventive coating that holds up for years is the kind of product that keeps our name good. That's why it's on our shelf.

Questions, answered straight

What is Endurance Coating?

It's a spray-on preventive treatment. Applied to a clean surface, it dries to an invisible film that resists mold growth for up to 10 years, even through repeated wet and dry cycles. Think of it as the finishing step after remediation.

Does it kill existing mold?

No. This is the important part. Endurance Coating prevents future mold growth, it does not remove mold that's already there. Remediate the existing mold first, then apply the coating so it doesn't come back.

How long does the protection last?

Superstratum rates it for up to 10 years of mold resistance, indoors and outdoors, through normal wet and dry cycles. Real-world life depends on the surface and conditions, but this is a long-term coating, not a seasonal spray.

Where can I use it?

Any moisture-prone surface: bathroom tile and grout, kitchen backsplashes, windowsills, basements, siding, and roofing. It works both indoors and outdoors, and Superstratum backs it with third-party lab testing.

Will it change how the surface looks?

No. It dries to an invisible film, so tile still looks like tile and siding still looks like siding.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Superstratum describes it as a gentle formula safe for use around children and pets. Apply it per the label, let it dry fully, and use common sense, same as any surface treatment in a home.

Can I use it outside?

Yes. It's made for both indoor and outdoor surfaces, and it's designed to hold up through rain, snow, sun, and wind. Superstratum shows test results on siding and roofing with no mold growth after extended outdoor exposure.

How is this different from the Deodor Bomb?

They're phases two and three of Superstratum's Whole Home Detox protocol, their three-phase system for eradicating airborne and surface-bound mycotoxins. Phase one is cleaning the surfaces with Superstratum's Building Cleaner. Phase two is the Deodor Bomb, a one-time gas treatment that resets the air. Phase three is Endurance Coating, the preventive film that keeps mold from growing back. Each phase does a job the others can't.
